Structural MIG welder — Goodhue County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Goodhue County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On the job you will handle: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs We offer $15 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
