Rigger wanted in Brown County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigger in Brown County, Wisconsin. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Day-to-day duties: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Six days a week, one day off.
