Blocklayer wanted in Huron County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Huron County, Ohio. You will work at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) 5+ years on the tools preferred. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
