Ironing operator wanted in Jackson County

Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Jackson County, Illinois. You will work at a garment factory. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day-to-day duties: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $220 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
