Structural MIG welder — Douglas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Douglas County, Kansas. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Your main tasks: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
