Thermal insulation technician — Bath County

Now hiring: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Bath County, Virginia. You will be based in lofts and crawl spaces. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls Day-to-day duties: • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding Part-time with flexible hours.
