Lift erector • Iron County, Utah

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift erector in Iron County, Utah. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On a typical shift you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
