Machine operator (earthworks) wanted in Pamlico County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Pamlico County, North Carolina. Day to day you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
