Elevator technician • Dala, Kano State

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Dala, Kano State. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day-to-day duties: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. ₦1,650 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
