Commis chef wanted in Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commis chef in Jefferson County, Mississippi. You will work at a roadside dhaba. Day to day you will taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Full-time with occasional weekends.
