What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Your main tasks: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence 5+ years on the tools preferred.
