Lathe programmer-operator — Mercer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Mercer County, North Dakota. On a typical shift you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; load and index turning tools in the turret. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Full-time with occasional weekends.
