Brickwork mason • Van Zandt County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Van Zandt County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage 4+ years on the tools preferred.
