The role involves shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
