Production welder — Cherokee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production welder in Cherokee County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy production line. Day to day you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
