Formwork carpenter — Jada

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Jada, Adamawa State. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. Your main tasks: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking 1+ years on the tools preferred.
