We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundworker in Iwajowa, Oyo State. The job is on a commercial building project. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain The role involves fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker.
