Quality assurance assistant — Harvey County

Join our team: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Harvey County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
