Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble worker in Fairfield County, Ohio. The role involves: • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
