Materials handling operator wanted in Amherst County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a materials handling operator in Amherst County, Virginia. You should have: • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas • Valid forklift / FLT licence for counterbalance and reach trucks • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required The role involves: • Sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris • Top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains • Log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book • Position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load • Assist with stock takes and cycle counting • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
