Rebar installer wanted in Scotland County

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar installer in Scotland County, North Carolina. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
