Vacancy available: rebar installer (Minnesota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Polk County, Minnesota. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
