Immediate opening: we are hiring a tiler in Mercer County, Illinois. You should have: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter The role involves: • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits 5+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
