Scaffold fitter — Buncombe County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Buncombe County, North Carolina. You will work on a bridge maintenance job. On a typical shift you will hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
