Now hiring: we are hiring an oven operator in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. The role involves keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; score the top of loaves before baking; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
