D6/D8 dozer operator • Odogbolu, Ogun State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Odogbolu, Ogun State. The job is at an open-cast mine. On a typical shift you will form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals. Requirements: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence 4+ years on the tools preferred.
