Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Charlton County, Georgia. The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 2+ years on the tools preferred.
