You should have: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites The role involves: • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
