Sample machinist — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Jackson County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
