Great opportunity: we are hiring a road roller operator in Swain County, North Carolina. The job is at a plant hire yard. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Day to day you will break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
