Cnc lathe setter wanted in Bronx County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Bronx County, New York. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; load and index turning tools in the turret; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
