Ladle pourer — Del Norte County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Del Norte County, California. You will be based on the moulding line. The role involves assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
