Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets On a typical shift you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel.
