Deboner — Iron County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a deboner in Iron County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter The role involves: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
