You will dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days. What we are looking for: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Rotating shifts.
