Lathe programmer-operator — Troup County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Troup County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; load and index turning tools in the turret. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 4+ years on the tools preferred.
