QC inspector — Avery County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a QC inspector in Avery County, North Carolina. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Day to day you will carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data. You should have: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Part-time with flexible hours. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
