Steel fixing chargehand — Johnson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Johnson County, Kansas. The role involves: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
