Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE The role involves sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair.
