Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Pawnee County, Kansas. You will be based at a container port. Day to day you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
