Groundsman — Caroline County

Join our team: we are hiring a groundsman in Caroline County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting On a typical shift you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
