Retail butcher wanted in Teller County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a retail butcher in Teller County, Colorado. You will work in a meat processing plant. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Day-to-day duties: • Season and marinate meat on request • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
