Powder coating operator — Suffolk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Suffolk County, New York. You will be based at a powder coating unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations Full-time, day shift.
