Crawler dozer operator — Alamance County

Join our team: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Alamance County, North Carolina. You will work on a road construction project. On a typical shift you will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
