Groundskeeper — Calcasieu Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
