Construction helper wanted in Lamar County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a construction helper in Lamar County, Texas. You will work with a civil contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Physically fit and comfortable working at height We offer $210 per day plus benefits.
