Immediate opening: steel erection rigger (Missouri)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Butler County, Missouri. You will be based at a shipyard. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness You will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
