Offshore rigger wanted in Sierra County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Sierra County, California. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit.
