Argon welding operator — Iron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Iron County, Michigan. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
