Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Your main tasks: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
